July '11 A brilliant weekend at the Kames British Championship round
spoilt only by yet another alternator failure. Turned out the fan
had been rubbing on the stator windings and wore through....
That's 2 faulty alternators in succession. Couldn't spoil the fun
as both drivers recorded PBs at our most frequently visited track. |
Over the last year, there's been a lot of interest in our pneumatic
gearshift system. Several people have asked if it was available as
a standalone system. We now have the 1st hardware ready and running,
just waiting for the chance to test it in a car. The firmware has
some additional options to cope with bike style neutrals. The new
firmware has now been merged into the XoomBox X10der and is working
well. We've also tested XoomBox support for high capacity memory
cards (SD HC 4 GBytes and over). This seems to be working well and
will be released soon. |
