Kames test day 4th March '07
A lot of effort was required to get there, but eventually we arrived at
Kames for the season's only day of testing. A bit of a shame then that
the weather didn't play. It was freezing cold, damp in the morning and
wet in the afternoon. We got enough running in to establish that the
new clutch and gearbox are working as expected, and to get some provisional
settings on the dampers. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how
things go when we come back for the first event.

With the engine back a couple of inches, there's only just enough room for the hydraulics AND the airfilter |

After a couple of runs, the exhaust was starting to singe the paintwork. Stephen improvised a deflector! |

New springs dampers and wider track front wishbones will cure tight corner understeer. We hope. |
