Scottish Sporting sprint at Kames 11/04/10

.We were determined to make up for last year's disaster at this event - the gear box nearly fell out - and since we had the newly fitted pneumatic gear shift system, fingers were crossed that it would all hold together.  In the end, we got the reliability and performance almost lived up to expectations.  David got a new PB of 83.48, with Stephen just 0.01s ahead on 83.47.  At over 90mph as we cross the finish line, that's less than 18" between us.

It's a pity we didn't get video of these 2 runs, but we did catch these.

Here's Stephen's first practice run on Sunday morning.  Not bad to start with 83.76.

It took David a little longer to wake up and get on the pace, but here he is in the first timed run, clocking 84.02, just 0.05s off his previous PB.
